WDS började med rasspecial och otroliga 21 IWS var anmälda för Laurent Pichard med hundar från flera länder, helt fantastiskt att få se så många på en och samma gång det är verkligen inget som händer ofta oavsett vilket land man befinner sig i.
Joy vann championklassen och blev tredje bästa tik i en stark tikklass och Splinter, som enda veteran för dagen, fick sitt andra finska veterancert, BIR veteran samt den fina titeln Helsinki Circuit Veteran Winner-25, HeCVW-25!
WDS started with the breed specialty and an incredible 21 IWS were entered for Laurent Pichard, with dogs from several countries — absolutely amazing to see so many at the same time, it’s truly something that doesn’t happen often no matter which country you’re in.
Joy won the champion class and placed third best bitch in a strong female class, and Splinter, as the only veteran of the day, earned her second Finnish veteran certificate, BOB veteran, as well as the title Helsinki Circuit Veteran Winner-25, HeCVW-25!
Några dagar senare var det dags att kliva upp tidigt och rulla mot Helsingfors igen, denna dag var det själva WDS för IWS och även här hade vi en hog siffra med 27 anmälda i rasen. Domare för dagen var Harry Tast, Finland.
Där var 4 tikar anmälda i championklassen och Joy placerades på en hedrande andra plats och fick sedemera R-CACIB. Splinter däremot slog på stort med BIR veteran, cert och således finsk utställningschampion (FIN UCH), det tredje och sista veterancertet vilket ger titeln finsk veteranutställningschampion (FIN VUCH) samt titeln Veteran Världs Vinnare-25 som grädde på moset!
A few days later it was time to get up early and head back to Helsinki, this time for the actual WDS for IWS, where we once again had a strong entry with 27 dogs in the breed. The judge of the day was Harry Tast from Finland.
There were 4 bitches entered in the champion class, and Joy earned an honorable second place and later received the R-CACIB. Splinter, however, went all out with BOB veteran, CAC, and thus became Finnish Show Champion (FI CH), receiving her third and final veteran certificate which gives the title Finnish Veteran Show Champion (FIN VCH), along with the cherry on top — the title Veteran World Winner-25 (VWW-25)!

My beloved queen, Splinter — SEV-19 SV-22 SE U(u)CH NO UCH CIE DKCH(u) NORDIC CH, ViV-25 Foulby Chip Off The Old Block at Stanegate — had an unforgettable weekend at the NORDIC dog show in Vännäs, Sweden.
She started off strong by going Best of Breed and Best of Breed Veteran under judge Eva Nielsen, and at the same time she was awarded both the Nordic CAC and the Nordic Veteran CAC. From there, she continued to shine — taking Best in Show 1 Veteran (BIS1) under Per Kristian Andersen, and then placing an impressive BIG4 under Tuula Savolainen in a highly competitive group.
I’m so incredibly proud of my girl – what a weekend to remember!

Min älskade aristokrat Splinter — SEV-19 SV-22 SE U(u)CH NO UCH CIE DKCH(u) NORDIC CH, ViV-25 Foulby Chip Off The Old Block at Stanegate — hade en oförglömlig helg på den årliga utställningen i Vännäs, Sverige.
Hon började med att bli Bäst i rasen och Bäst i rasen veteran under domare Eva Nielsen, och tilldelades samtidigt både Nordic cert och Nordic Veteran cert. Därifrån fortsatte hon sin segerresa och tog hem Best in Show 1 Veteran (BIS1) under Per Kristian Andersen, innan hon placerade sig som BIG4 under Tuula Savolainen i en mycket konkurrenskraftig grupp.
Jag är så otroligt stolt över min tjej – vilken helg att minnas!
Alltså, vilken helg det har varit! Inte nog med att det gick riktigt bra i rasringen – mina fantastiska flickor lyckades dessutom placera sig i hela fyra av sex möjliga finaler. Jag svävar fortfarande på moln! Jag har visat fyra olika hundar under helgen, så det har minst sagt varit fullt upp.
Det har krävts fokus, planering och en hel del pälsjobb men det har gåt bra trots allt. Att få stå där med hundar jag är så stolt över och se dem prestera på topp, det är verkligen en känsla som inte går att jämföra med något annat. Stort tack till alla som hejat, hjälpt till bakom kulisserna och gratulerat. Nu laddar vi om för nästa äventyr!
Söndag INT Boden
What a weekend it’s been! Not only did things go really well in the breed ring – my amazing girls also managed to place in no less than four out of six possible finals. I’m still on cloud nine! I’ve shown four different dogs over the weekend, so it’s definitely been a busy one.
It’s taken focus, planning, and quite a bit of coat work, but everything came together in the end. Standing there with dogs I’m so proud of and seeing them perform at their best is truly a feeling like no other. A big thank you to everyone who cheered us on, helped behind the scenes, and sent congratulations. Now it’s time to recharge for the next adventure!

Tre dagar i Roskilde – vilken fantastisk helg!
Efter en ”liten” bilresa på 317 mil kommer vi hem med 3 nya championtitlar (två stycken dansk utställningschampion och en NORDIC champion) och 2 vinnartitlar (Roskildevinnare-25 och Viking Vinnare-25) att lägga till i samlingen. En oförglömlig upplevelse – och vi funderar redan på nästa resa!

Three days in Roskilde – what a fantastic weekend!
After a “little” road trip of 3,170 km, we’re coming home with 3 brand new champion titles (two Danish show champions and a NORDIC champion) and 2 winner titles (Roskilde Winner-25 and Viking Winner-25) to add to the list. Truly an unforgettable adventure – and we’re already thinking about the next trip!

Correct scissor bite, well-set drop-shaped ears, muscular long neck, well-laid-back shoulder and correct upper arm. Good depth and length of ribcage with correct barrel shape. Muscular, short loin, well-set tail, well-angulated and muscular hindquarters. Parallel movement, slightly rounded when viewed from the side. Correct small curls, though could be slightly more oily. Well presented with excellent temperament.”
I helgen så var det dags, med för lite träning i bagaget gav vi oss iväg på tävling i rallylydnad. Min vän och tillika delägare kom med Stanegate Happy Go Lucky ”Happy” och jag hade anmält Jocose Plaesure you Can’t Measure ”Vega”. Modigt värre eftersom vi bara hann få in 5 träningar före det var dags för tävling!
Där var en nybörjarklass på lördag och en på söndag, båda hundarna skötte sig utmärkt på lördagen och hade höga poäng, därmed var de två första kvalificerande resultaten i hamn. Söndagen var svårare, banan var rolig och hade mest moment som hundarna kunde men denna dag luktade konstgräsmattan alldeles ljuvlig och Vega var 5poäng under godkänt resultat. Caroline och Happy fick åter kvalificerande poäng som hade varit ännu högre om de hade fått samla sig lite mer och inte vara hund nummer ett ut på banan. Så stolt över våra krulliga som skötte sig så bra trots att vi begärde väldigt mycket av dem.
This weekend it was time — with too little training under our belts, we headed off to a rally obedience competition. My friend and co-owner came with Stanegate Happy Go Lucky ”Happy”, and I had entered Jocose Plaesure you Can’t Measure ”Vega”. Pretty bold, considering we only managed five training sessions before the competition!There was a beginner class on Saturday and one on Sunday. Both dogs did excellently on Saturday and scored high points, securing their first two qualifying results. Sunday was tougher — the course was fun and mostly had exercises the dogs knew, but the artificial turf smelled absolutely divine that day, and Vega ended up 5 points below a qualifying score. Caroline and Happy earned another qualifying score, which could have been even higher if they’d had a bit more time to compose themselves and not been the first dog on the course.
So proud of our curly ones who did so well, even though we asked a lot from them.
