Summer / Sommar

We have had real summer weather during the weekend, about 26 degree Celsius in the shadow. Not the best IWS weather but the minpins just love it! If it continue like this I have to go down to the sea so the big dogs can swim for the first time this year, maybe even practice some retrieving in the water…

Vi har haft riktigt sommarväder under helgen, runt 26 grader i skuggan. Inte det bästa IWS vädret men Dvärgpinschrarna älskar det! Fortsätter det såhär så måste jag nog gå ner till havet så de stora hundarna kan ta årets premiär dopp, kanske tom att det blir lite vattenapportering…

8 years! / 8 år!

SE (u)UCH TK 1 Coffee’s Give As a Break ”Ruska” turns 8 years old today! So now we have a veteran, only thing is that I don’t think anyone have told Ruska this. She still behaves like a 3 year old, pulling my sister on skiis, running along the snowmobile and playing football. 🙂

SE (u)UCH TK 1 Coffee’s Give As a Break ”Ruska” fyller 8 år idag! So nu har vi en veteran, enda konstiga är att ingen tycks berättat det till Ruska. Hon beter sig fortfarande som en treåring, drar min syster på skidorna, springer brevid skotern och spelar fotboll. 🙂

Premier show

Jocose The Traitor Queen ”Maggie” and Jocose The Ambassadors’ Mission have been to their premier show today. Maggie went BOB and Basse took the BOS placement, really good practice and they behaved so nice! It was a proud breeder that drove home in the snow, sure they were jumping every second step but they are still puppies and I think they are allowed to do that. At nonofficial shows you are ment to practice with your dog for future official shows and so we did while having fun at the same time!

Jocose The Traitor Queen ”Maggie” and Jocose The Ambassadors’ Mission har varit debuterat på utställning idag. Domaren valde fram Maggie som BIR och Basse blev då BIM, så bra träning och de betedde sig superbra! Det var med andra ord en stolt uppfödare som körde hem i snön, visst de hoppade på nästan vartannat steg i ringen men de är fortfarande valpar och jag tycker det (än så länge) är ok. På inoficiella är det ju meningen att man ska träna inför officiella uställningar och det har vi gjort idag, samtidigt som vi hade roligt!

Basse är fortfarande till salu.

We have celebrated Firas birthday with several long walks, nice weather, lots of dogs running free and several pictures. I think she prefers a present like that instead of sweets, or what do you think?

Vi har firat Firas födelsedag med flera promenader i det fina vädret, massa hundar som sprang lös och fotografering. Jag tror hon föredrar det som present framför godis, eller vad tror du?

Shots/Sprutor

We went to the vet today, Maggie, Fira, Basse and I. Fira got her “1 year” shot and Basse and Maggie got their first rabies shots.

They behaved really well, Fira just dropped her ears now and then and forgot what I had told her. Like that not all in the clinic are there to say hello and pet her, but on the other hand, its nice to see how she just loves everybody

Vi var till veterinären idag, Fira, Basse, Maggie och jag. Fira fick sin ettårs vaccination medan Basse och Maggie fick första sprutan rabies.

Alla skötte sig riktigt bra. Fira tappade dock öronen ibland och glömde vad jag sagt till henne. Som tex att alla på kliniken inte är där för att säga hej och klappa på en Fira-bus. Men å andra sidan tycker jag det är roligt att se hur hon bara älskar allt och alla

Snow, snow and more snow…/Snö i massor

Here in Piteå it’s eater freezing cold, -20 degree Celsius or colder, or it’s about -10 and snowing. Today it was snowing, so much that they had, once again, been out with the snow shoveling truck and we had so much from them on our drive way that I had to grab the shovel.

At first I had all dogs outside with me, but the little ones, including Nemi, don’t really like snow and temperatures below zero so after a while it was just me and Fira running around in the snow. Can’t really say that she is helping but she can give some nice laughs

When I had removed all the white stuff and could put the car in the garage I had to bring the camera outside to take some pictures.

Här i Piteå så är det antingen iskallt, -20 grader celcius eller kaller, eller så snöar det och är runt -10 grader. Idag snöade det, så mycket att jag, för vilken gång i år vet jag inte, fick parkera bilen på vägen medan jag skottade gård och plogvall.

Först så hade jag alla hundarna ute med mig, men de små, inkluderat Nemi, är inte speciellt förtjusta i snö och kyla så efter ett tag var det bara jag och Fira kvar. Hon är inte mycket till hjälp när hon springer runt, men det är roligt att se henne skutta och leka

När jag äntligen hade fått bort all snö som var ivägen och kunde köra in bilen så blev det lite fotografering.

A visit to the vet/Veterinärbesök

The puppies and Fira have been to the vet today. Fira had her blood sampled so they can look if she have antibodies for rabies, she did excellent and was so good during the whole blood collection. 🙂

The puppies got their first vaccination and also one chip each in the neck. I think they thought it was a quite exciting journey and they were running around in the whole examination room.

Valparna och fira var till veterinären idag. På Fira togs det blodprov för att se om hon har antikroppar mot rabies så nu är det bara att hålla tummarna! Hon skötte sig exemplariskt och var helt stilla medan de tömde blod, precis så som jag förväntar mig att mina hundar ska uppföra sig hos veterinären 🙂

Valparna fick sin första vaccination och varsitt microchip i nacken. Ja och givetvis en veterinärbesiktning var som de klarade gallant. Jag tror nog att de tyckte det var en spännade utflykt, de for som små orkaner runt i undersökningsrummet när de inte var på bordet och sprutades.
